PARTNERS

The Community Foundation for San Benito County is dedicated to building a stronger community and enhancing the quality of life in San Benito County through the support of philanthropic activities.

The Department of Forestry and Fire Protection serves and safeguards the people and protects the property and resources of California.
Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) is pleased to partner with Fire Safe Councils and
other 501(c)(3) organizations in funding planned fuel reduction and fire safety projects to help
further reduce wildfire risks.

Newly expanded Hollister Fire Department is excited to be currently ushering in another milestone. While we have always stood ready to protect our community, early in 2013 we expanded our organization to provide fire protection services for two additional municipalities. We are welcoming San Benito County and the nearby city of San Juan Bautista under our umbrella.

The San Benito Resource Conservation District (SBRCD) provides free, non-regulatory, confidential assistance to landowners and land managers to address soil and water quality, climate resilience, and ecosystem health on private and public lands.

Hollister Hills offers recreation for motorcyclists, 4-wheelers, picnickers, and campers in the Gabilan Mountains just an hour’s drive from San Jose. Park elevations range from 660 feet to 2,425 feet.

The Bureau of Land Management Central Coast Field Office administers approximately 284,000 acres of public land in Central California. Bounded by the Pacific Ocean to the west and the San Joaquin Valley to the east, elevations range from sea level to over 5,000 feet and major landforms include the Diablo Mountain Range, Salinas Valley, and San Joaquin Valley.
